Anindito Aditomo adalah peneliti di Pusat Studi Pendidikan dan Kebijakan (PSPK) dan pengajar paruh waktu di program pascasarjana Universitas Surabaya. Ia menamatkan pendidikan sarjana di bidang psikologi dari Universitas Gadjah Mada, sebelum menempuh studi S2 dan S3 di bidang ilmu pendidikan di University of Sydney, Australia. Riset pasca-doktoralnya dilakukan di Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education, Jerman, dengan fellowship dari Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Sebagai pakar asesmen dan evaluasi pendidikan, saat ini Anindito dipercaya oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan untuk ikut merancang kerangka sistem evaluasi pendidikan di tingkat nasional. Sejumlah rekomendasinya telah menjadi bagian dari kebijakan Asesmen Nasional yang akan diterapkan mulai 2021. Sebagai peneliti, Anindito juga melakukan riset tentang interaksi antara sains dan agama, serta implikasinya untuk pendidikan dalam konteks masyarakat plural dan demokratis.
