Andi Dian Permana adalah peneliti microneedles pertama di Indonesia dan sebagai professor termuda di bidang kesehatan dan farmasi di Indonesia. Keberhasilannya membentuk dan mendorong perkembangan ilmiah di Indonesia merupakan puncak pencapaian yang mengilhami banyak individu.
Sebagai seorang pionir dalam penelitian microneedles di Indonesia, Andi Dian Permana membawa terobosan yang mengubah paradigma dalam sistem penghantaran obat. Teknologi ini membuka pintu untuk aplikasi penghantaran obat yang lebih efektif, efisien, dan pengobatan penyakit yang lebih inovatif karena pengobatan yang tidak terbatas melalui pengobatan topical namun juga bisa melalui sirkulasi sistemik dari pasien.
Dian, akrab ia disapa, telah menjelajahi dan menguasai domain ilmiah yang penting ini, membawa harapan untuk peningkatan signifikan dalam peningkatan kualitas kesehatan dan farmasi di Indonesia. Dian telah berhasil mempublikasikan penelitiannya dalam jurnal terindeks Scopus sebagai bukti konkret dari dedikasinya dalam berkontribusi pada dunia akademik. Tentunya, publikasi ilmiah tersebut mampu memberikan wawasan berharga kepada komunitas ilmiah dari sitasi ilmiah yang telah dia peroleh. Dian juga terlibat dalam upaya meningkatkan publikasi ilmiah di berbagai institusi, menjadikan dirinya sebagai seorang mentor/pengarah yang berperan dalam pengembangan penelitian dan publikasi para peneliti muda. Sebagai seorang pendidik, Dian adalah teladan bagi mahasiswa dan peneliti muda di seluruh negeri. Dia membimbing dan membentuk pikiran-pikiran muda, membantu mereka meraih potensi maksimal mereka dalam bidang kesehatan dan farmasi.
