Abdullah Mujahid Hamdan, M.Si., Ph.D. lahir pada tahun 1989, beliau berada pada usia produktif yang sesuai dengan kriteria ALMI, sekaligus memperlihatkan kiprah akademik dan riset yang sangat menonjol. Dengan H-index Scopus 7 dan lebih dari 20 publikasi di jurnal internasional bereputasi, kontribusinya mencakup berbagai bidang strategis seperti fisika material, nanoteknologi, energi terbarukan, magnetik lingkungan, hingga phytoremediation. Hal ini menunjukkan keluasan wawasan riset sekaligus kedalaman keilmuan yang relevan dengan agenda nasional dan global. Keunggulan pengusul juga tercermin dari keberhasilan memperoleh pendanaan riset berskala besar dan kompetitif, termasuk hibah LPDP senilai Rp 5 miliar (2024–2027), BRIN–RIIM4–LPDP, dan Riset dari Kemenag RI. Ia juga menghasilkan inovasi nyata melalui paten alat sintesis nanopartikel oksida logam serta buku ilmiah mengenai fitofabrikasi nanopartikel nikel. Arah riset yang dikembangkan berorientasi pada energi bersih, circular economy, dan keberlanjutan lingkungan, isu yang sangat relevan dengan tantangan bangsa ke depan. Selain kapasitas riset, Abdullah Mujahid Hamdan juga memiliki rekam jejak kepemimpinan akademik yang kuat. Saat ini beliau menjabat sebagai Wakil Dekan III FST UIN Ar-Raniry, dengan pengalaman sebelumnya sebagai Ketua dan Sekretaris Program Studi, serta Ketua Pusat Studi dan Inovasi. Di tingkat publik, ia turut berkontribusi dalam penyusunan RPJM Aceh, menjadi Tim Ahli Bappeda Aceh, serta aktif dalam berbagai forum kebijakan publik. Dedikasinya mendapat pengakuan melalui penghargaan nasional dan penetapan sebagai dosen berprestasi.
